Unpopular opinion: The missing element found within new age spiritualism
To begin with, I want to pause here, and insert a disclaimer in that I do not wish to be misunderstood or misinterpreted. More specifically, the thing that I don’t want to get lost in translation is the idea that I do not support what is going on in this new age spiritualism movement that can be observed in the collective. As a living, breathing, conscious being, I absolutely love that more and more people are attempting to develop their sense of spirituality. It is my own personal opinion that spirituality is the most important aspect of our lives. It makes my heart dance with happiness that we are seeing large numbers of people making an effort to grow and expand in their sense of consciousness. I believe all of these things to be of great merit, and that these endeavors should be applauded. We need spiritual leaders now more than ever before. That being said, when one observes the discussions taking place within these contact zones-within these communities- one cannot overlook that there seems to be a vital missing ingredient to the beliefs stemming out of this movement.
