On spiritual strongholds

One of the difficult things about being a spiritual being having a human experience, is the realization that we are subjected to spiritual warfare. It doesn’t matter what religion the individual is part of most spiritual communities agree with this fact. It can be disheartening at times. We may find ourselves thinking that we would expect better from the spiritual realm. Sure, we conduct warfare here on earth, but somehow, we would expect the spiritual to be more, I don’t know, divine. That somehow any kind of warfare would be below that sacred realm. There may be a part of us that cries out, I want out. I didn’t sign up for this. I don’t want to be a part of a spiritual tug-of-war. But we did technically sign up for this in agreeing to come to earth, and not only that, but we were excited to do so. Even more so, it can be difficult to discern what is the most spiritual, and universal truth. We want to get it right so to speak. Should we be so preoccupied with this coming age of ascension that so many spiritual-minded people are talking about at this time? Is it that we should concentrate all our efforts on shifting from three-dimensional consciousness to that of five-dimensional consciousness? Is it okay to look into Buddhism? Should we be determined to become enlightened beings, and to help others through these processes? Or is it like a pastor I know said, that our purpose here on earth is to help as many people into…
