A thorough juxtaposition between spirituality and religion
There is a trending belief that the next world war of this earth will not be of worldly weapons, but one of the spiritual realm. Regardless of one’s religious background many of us agree that we are subjected to a kind of spiritual warfare, and the landscape of this battlefield is constantly shifting before our eyes. It is a welcoming thought that massive numbers of people are becoming more interested in spiritually oriented lifestyles. This is increasingly more comforting when we look at the world as being relatively spiritually impoverished; that is, we can look at the state of the world around us, and take the poverty that we see inherent within it as being representative of the lack of spirituality that we find it in. A good example of this illustration is provided by Eckhart Tolle, as he notes that, in his opinion, more than ninety-five percent of the planet is unconscious if we were to take into account the warfare, genocide, and all atrocious acts that we allow for to take place on this planet that we share. Through individuals like Eckhart Tolle, we see how more individuals are becoming more and more concerned with spiritual concepts such as expanding and growing consciousness, meditation, mindfulness, and things of that likes.
